Kid’s Korner

Hey kids! Do you like to draw comics?

You may get your work published in the Scribbler! The Columbus Scribbler is always on the lookout to showcase the talented comic making kids of our city. Submit your work and maybe you’ll get to see your work published in a newspaper.

What Are We Looking For?

The Scribbler is an all-ages publication. We welcome any and all genres such as auto-bio, superhero, fantasy, sci-fi, etc. Material should be PG Rated, so please no swearing, graphic violence, drug use, or sexual content. Overly political subjects should also be avoided. Comics do not have to be about/set in Columbus, but bonus points if they do!

Here’s what you do:

  1. Draw your comic 8.5” x 11” (the size of a piece of regular
copy paper on its side). Download our comic template and remember we’re not a color paper, so all comics should be done in black and white.
  2. Scan your comic in at at least 200 dpi.
  3. Send your comic to cbusscribbler@gmail.com with the subject line “Kid’s Korner”
  4. Please include your name, age, and e-mail address.

Please note that all published Kid’s Korner comics will be considered donated material. Must be 17 years or younger to submit.
